Professor of Neurosurgery

Yavuz Aras, MD

Professor Yavuz Aras is a highly respected neurosurgery specialist in Turkey, working in this area for more than 15 years. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medicine Faculty in 1998. He completed his residency at Istanbul University Istanbul Medicine Faculty, specializing in neurosurgery in 2007. Since 2010, he is a Professor of Neurosurgery at Istanbul University, School of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery. His interested ares are brain tumors, spine surgery, pediatric neurosurgery and functional neurosurgery.
